After graduating from the Newhouse Program at Syracuse University, she began her career in television broadcasting. In the newsroom, she became skilled at asking qualifying questions, learning through listening and above all else, communicating stories across multiple platforms.
Elisa Miller-Out is an experienced tech entrepreneur, investor, board director and community builder. She’s currently co-founder of PollQ, a chatbot polling tool for higher ed. She also serves on the board of Women 2.0.
Elisa recently had a successful acquisition deal with a division of Singlebrook, a custom software services firm that she co-founded and led as CEO for over 10 years. She is now chair of the board and CFO at Singlebrook. Singlebrook has Fortune 500, higher education and nonprofit clients from all over the world including: Cornell, Yale, Henry Schein, Hitachi, the Sierra Club, the Environmental Defense Fund and more.
Elisa has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA Today, Forbes and other publications, and she speaks about technology and entrepreneurship at events across the country.
